The Powerpuffs

Pletcher has been hiding out at Keenland, and so, he's a bit difficult to judge.
What shows, as follows:

1. MONBA:

Works/races for the year: Well below average.
Works/races since 3/15: 6, which would be average.
Furlongs: Pyro has done almost twice as many. Near the bottom.
Spacing: Pletcher breezes every 7 days but the post race breezes are up to 3 wks later causing loss of condition.
Quality of work 10 days out: Poor. One 5f breeze in :12.8s shows since 4/12.
Analysis: Monba looks soft, and please be well assured, he is soft. What's up, you say?

2. COWBOY CAL:

Works/Races for the year: Ranks #18.
Works/races since 3/15: did 4, which qualifies as last place
Furlongs: 18th
Spacing: Same sequence as Monba. Inadequate.
Quality of work 10 days out. Cowboy Cal's one breeze since 4/12 was in :12s, but still poor comparitively.
Analysis: How do you screw up a potential winner. This one's a poster boy.

3. VISIONAIRE:

Works/races for the year: above average
Works/races since 3/15: average
Furlongs: Above average
Spacing: 7 day spacing and 10 days post race
Quality of work from 10 days out: poor. The races have been slow for this colt, the breezing always in :12+ with many of them 4f only. The last 10 days this Colt needed to be primed, instead it looks as if he's been dulled by primarily trotting into the Derby after his last breeze that was but 4f when it needed to be 6 or 7 F to be competitive.

Analysis: Is Matz missing Peter Brandt in the sadddle, and who was really the trainer of Barbaro?
