Will the training splits affect the finish? Here they are ranked in order of volume of speed work since 1/1/09.

It looks as the trainers of the top two are trying a little harder, and that most of the rest have similar training in terms of the whole year. Dunkirk and Quality Road training would seem to fit in with most of these. Again, the lesser horses do less work. Will Chocolate Candy and Mr. Hot Stuff show due to their overall greater volume of speed work??? Recent training and some picks on Saturday.
