Thomas Reid And The Pamplemoose
Thomas Reid, a 17th century philosopher whose thought was part of the reaction to the reaction to the ideas and science of Isaac Newton(1643-1727) proposed that we can trust our senses--what we see really is there--in opposition to philosophical gymnastics by John Locke and David Hume that we sense an impression or a copy of what is real--everything through the senses being thus "mediated" in some way. Does e.g. the tree that falls in the forest without anyone there to hear make noise?
Biology answers these question now, for we known images project on our retinas, are assimilated into nerve impulses, and electrically transmit to our brain which coordinates them accurately.
So, we look at The Pamplemoose can we trust our eyes? Is P the pack mule exiting the track in those Mary Forney videos or the real deal? Has a nitwit Canani adminstered ace promazine to P as suggested here:

P reminds me of a slightly lesser Big Brown: lengthy stride (that will inhale that rabbit), major league hind end, power, quick turnover, a presence. They have a decent work tab, Solis as exercise boy, I liked Rubiano and Kafwain ironically was trained by Baffert. Dutrow said Big Brown was so good why worry? Watch the 2008 Florida Derby to see awesome cruising speed cooking the field by the quarter pole. There is some of that with P. We also though consider e.g. Solis, in the next to last breeze, trotting across the finish line to begin the work at the 6f giving the horse exactly 2f of grossly insufficient warm up as a e.g. of the lack of attention to detail that has done in many a great horse.
So, dwell on negatives produced by small sample, or think P's ability will pull him through? I'd noticed flashes of husbandry problems, that the horse looks as one that sees the track maybe twice a week etc..
RR extends neck. A Big Brown pre-Belmont, prediction --P done about the 1/8 pole.
Pioneer, Mr. Hot Stuff, Chocolate Candy, and P, in that order at the finish.. Sentimental favorite Gallant Son ($9000 purchase) in long exotics as the "best of the rest" (last 4 horses in list below.).
